Tax Time 23,   Monotype is a finalist in the Inkmasters Cairns 4th Biennial Print Exhibition 2018. The show opens on Friday 27th July 2018, 6pm at the Tanks Arts Centre, Cairns and goes till Sunday 19th August 2018.

Artist Statement

This series of prints are comments on my experience of preparing annual tax returns.

I found them quite stressful like I was drowning in numbers that were taking me down with them.

Although I have not needed to submit returns in recent years the thought of the figures and the need to submit them to scrutiny makes me feel sick and overwhelmed.
