‘A Gentle Response’ Wollongong Art Gallery

My new works were included in ‘A Gentle Response’ http://wollongongartgallery.com/exhibitions/Pages/A-Gentle-Response.aspx along with the exciting week of openings that celebrated with the launch of A Gentle Project, in collaboration with the Clifton School of Arts.

The Gentle Project celebrated the life and legacy of artist Ian Gentle, who lived and worked in the Illawarra from 1980 – 2009 with exhibitions at Wollongong Art Gallery and Clifton School of Arts, Gentle at Clifton (a short film about his life) and publication Ian Gentle: The Found Line.

At the Wollongong Art Gallery on Saturday 2 December we heard from Ian Gentle’s niece, Linda Fenton, on behalf of his family, and Dr Deborah Hart (Head Curator of Australian Art, @nationalgalleryaus) at the official opening of the project.
